A Notebook in One Hand, a Lens in the Other

Every time I walk into a venue before a wedding or stand across the street sizing up a building's facade, I pull out a small notebook first. Old habit. I sketch rough compositions, jot light conditions, flag questions — then I pick up the camera. That back-and-forth between thinking and doing is pretty much how I operate in everything, including my writing.

I'm Zoe Shaw: writer, analyst, and someone who gets genuinely restless when a concept hasn't been stress-tested against real practice. Photography gave me the perfect arena for that.
